BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 26, 2007) - Delaware North Companies was once again recognized in high regard at the 2007 ADDY Awards, Buffalo Chapter. Delaware North and its’ various subsidiaries won a total of 10 awards, including six courtesy of Wynne Creative Group and four thanks to The Martin Group.
The Wynne Group teamed up with Delaware North to bring home a Gold Award for the Pathways to Plate Cookbook which was a Best of Show Finalist. They also collected two silvers for the company’s Nashville Music City Big Book and the Sportservice Yankees’ Big Book. Both these awards were presented in the category Big Book Leave Behind. In the category of Special Event Material they brought home a silver award for Delaware North’s Elton John Concert Invitation. The company’s Platinum Club Web Announcement collected silver honors in the category of Direct B-to-B or Consumer. The final award for Delaware North with Wynne Creative was silver for the Sportservice ‘Lost Dog’ ad in the category of full-page – four color advertising.
Delaware North and The Martin Group teamed up to win four awards for the same piece of work. The company’s Nashville Airport Retail Bag won two gold awards and two silvers. The gold honors came in the categories of Packaging – Single Unit and Product or Service Sales Presentation Sales Kits or Product Info Sheets. The silvers came for Specialty Advertising – Other Merchandise and B-to-B or consumer – 3-D.
The ADDY Awards are the world’s largest advertising competition that includes three levels of judging, local, regional, and national/international. The 2007 ADDY Awards, Buffalo chapter, recognizes all marketing and advertising projects in the local Western New York market. Awards are given to both companies and individuals who display standout performances in advertising and marketing.
The awards are held annually at the Statler Towers in downtown Buffalo, and the show was organized by Brainstorm Inc., and The Communicators Club of Buffalo.
