Smiles are many at J.P. Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge in Buffalo

As it has during the last several years, Delaware North had arguably the most well-equipped hospitality tent at the June 25 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, a 3½-mile road race at Buffalo’s Delaware Park featuring more than 375 Western New York businesses.

The Delaware North Sportservice culinary team from nearby Ralph Wilson Stadium – home of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills – rolled out a spread that included chili-crusted salmon, char-grilled hot dogs, marinated grilled rwscc-8242882chicken breast, salad, whole fruit, cold-roasted tomato-basil soup and grilled vegetables with an aged balsamic reduction. Dessert, meanwhile, included strawberry shortcake, assorted cookies and brownies and a sliced fruit platter.

“I am really proud of how our team once again stepped up and provided a top-rate feast for our runners,” Delaware North’s executive chef at Ralph Wilson Stadium, Andy Altomare, said. “Executive Sous Chef Jon Wilson put together a terrific menu, and everyone really seemed to enjoy it.”

UPDATE: As for the run itself, Ron Stasio had Delaware North's best time, crossing the finish line at 24:17. It was previously reported that Ian Kaminski had the company's best time; per Kaminski, however, his race chip malfunctioned — boosting his time by a few minutes.
