Delaware North announces food and beverage contract with the Forum

BUFFALO, N.Y., and LOS ANGELES (Jan. 16, 2019) – The Madison Square Garden Company has awarded Delaware North Sportservice with a contract to operate food and beverage services at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Delaware North, which provides food and/or retail services in more than 50 sports and entertainment venues around the world, began operations at the iconic venue on Jan. 2. No stranger to Southern California, Delaware North is the food and retail partner at Petco Park in San Diego and operates food and beverage services at SDCCU Stadium. What’s more, Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group operates myriad fine-dining restaurants – including the award-winning Patina in Los Angeles – and has catered events such as the Emmy Awards Governors Ball.

The Forum, owned and operated by The Madison Square Garden Company, is a preeminent Southern California concert and entertainment venue that hosts more than 100 performances each year and attracts more than 1 million guests. Following a comprehensive reinvention from a sports-first venue, the Forum reopened in its current form in 2014 with six performances by the rock band The Eagles. The reimagination of the Forum created the only arena-sized venue in the country focused on music and entertainment, and today it offers something for everyone – artists, promoters, music fans, VIP customers and marketing partners.

Architecturally, the interior of the bowl was completely modernized and features flexible seating, ranging from 17,500 seats to 7,000 seats – allowing the venue to accommodate a wide variety of premier events. For patrons seated on the arena floor, there is approximately 8,000 square feet of event-level hospitality offerings, including food and beverage, merchandise and restrooms, as well as a glass wall that separates this concession area from the arena floor, ensuring fans do not miss a moment of the performance. The Forum also offers exclusive spaces for VIP customers, including the historic Forum Club, which has been completely reimagined with thematic music-inspired detailing.
