Leadership from The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake in Ohio recently announced the completion of a $2 million renovation to all guest rooms and suites.
Each room and suite showcases a new, upscale redesign, reflecting the warm earth tones and comfortable ambiance of The Lodge’s lakeside setting.
“Inspired by the natural beauty of Lake Erie and Geneva State Park, the updated look was designed with both leisure and conference guests in mind,” said Eric Frantz, general manager of the Delaware North-operated destination. “Comfortable, yet stylish, the redesigned guest rooms offer a true getaway experience.
“And with the addition of 25 cottages in 2016 and the coming of the Lake Erie Canopy Tours this summer, this was the ideal time to update our guest rooms and give them a fresh look,” he continued.
Guest rooms and suites offer a variety of experiences — ranging from a Premium King Fireplace Room featuring a fireplace with cozy seating area, to the resort’s spacious two-room King or Queen Suites that include a bedroom, comfortable sitting area with a pullout sofa bed and a kitchenette. The Deluxe Double Queen Room with a foldout sofa is ideal for families. A variety of rooms feature walkout patios or balconies.
Nearly all rooms offer a full or partial view of Lake Erie and feature complimentary high-speed internet access, coffee makers, mini refrigerators and other convenient amenities. Hotel amenities include free newspapers in the lobby, bicycle rentals, an onsite restaurant and lounge, fitness center, and indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs.
