Delaware North introduces The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone near Yellowstone National Park

GARDINER, Mont. (Dec. 3, 2019) – Global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North today announced a new name and logo for The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an 86-room hotel in Gardiner, Mont., near the northern entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

In addition to the hotel, it includes the 23-cabin Jim Bridger Motor Court, The Yellowstone Mine restaurant and the Rusty Rail Lounge & Casino, which offers a variety of video poker and keno machines. The complex also features an indoor heated pool, hot tub, saunas and gift shop.

It’s located just one mile from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, providing visitors with convenient access to the park’s top attractions such as Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Norris Geyser Basin and the popular wildlife viewing area of Lamar Valley.

The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone marks the second hotel in Delaware North’s portfolio to be converted to the proprietary brand. The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park, a hotel acquired by Delaware North near Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, was rebranded in 2017 when it reopened after significant renovations.

“Our Ridgeline Hotel brand has established itself as a fun and unique home base for travelers exploring America’s national parks,” said Scott Socha, president of Delaware North’s parks and resorts business. “With the curated and inclusive hospitality experience that Delaware North is already providing for visitors to Yellowstone National Park, it made perfect sense to expand The Ridgeline brand into this market.”

gardiner0092-1243793Delaware North owns and operates Yellowstone Vacation Tours in Yellowstone National Park, originating from both The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone and from West Yellowstone, Mont., at the park’s western entrance. The summer bus tours feature interpretive guides and include tours of Yellowstone’s upper and lower loops, as well as a wildlife viewing tour to Lamar Valley. Snowcoach tours to Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone will be available from the hotel in winter.

The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone also expands Delaware North’s portfolio in the region to owning and operating five lodging properties. The company’s other four lodging properties are located in West Yellowstone: the Holiday Inn West Yellowstone, Gray Wolf Inn & Suites, Yellowstone Park Hotel and the Explorer Cabins at Yellowstone. Delaware North also operates the 12 general stores in Yellowstone National Park under a contract with the U.S. National Park Service.

With the addition of The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, Delaware North now owns and/or operates more than 30 lodging properties throughout the United States and in Australia.

Yellowstone National Park, the first national park in the United States, is a nearly 3,500-square-mile wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope.

From the north entrance in Gardiner, it’s only five miles to Mammoth Hot Springs, a large complex of hot springs on a hill of travertine near Fort Yellowstone.
