Celebrate Mother’s Day at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake
GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ohio (April 9, 2008) –- Your mother will feel like royalty as she enjoys breathtaking views of Lake Erie while indulging in a sumptuous Mother’s Day Buffet at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake on May 11, 2008. Offered in the resort’s Horizons Restaurant, the Mother’s Day Buffet will be available for all members of the family to enjoy from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Prepared by The Lodge’s new Executive Chef Stephen Gary, this year’s Mother’s Day Buffet will feature a wide array of entrees that will tempt any palate including carved honey and orange turkey breast with classic gravy; sliced top round of beef with wild mushroom demi glaze; roasted chicken breasts with sweet corn and pepper salsa; and shrimp scampi with parsley and herb rice.
Lighter choices are offered with an assortment of salads and side dishes including fresh mixed greens salad with roma tomatoes and cucumber; antipasto salad, vegetable pasta salad; tomato and fresh mozzarella tossed with balsamic vinaigrette; garlic and basil roasted red potatoes; cheddar au gratin potatoes; freshly steamed broccoli and cauliflower with garlic butter; and lemon and herb glazed baby carrots.
Guests can indulge their sweet tooth with a selection of delectable desserts including double layer chocolate fudge cake, tiramisu, mini chocolate and berry cheesecake bites and much more.
