Christopher J. Feeney

  • Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Christopher J. Feeney is executive vice president and chief financial officer for Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality and entertainment. With more than $3.7 billion in annual revenue and 55,000 employees in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, it is one of the largest privately held hospitality companies in the world.

Feeney is responsible for Delaware North’s relationships with financial institutions, as well as the company’s financial strategy for all global operations, including operating subsidiaries that are industry leaders in food and retail operations at airports and professional sports venues, in sports facility ownership and management, in gaming operations, and in lodging and visitor services at national parks.

Under Feeney’s leadership, Delaware North has continued to maintain a strong financial position to enable it to reinvest in its various business lines, especially with significant capital improvements and expansions at operating locations. In addition, Delaware North has also had the resources to enhance its corporate infrastructure, including in finance, human resources and information technology, to accommodate continued growth.

Feeney also oversaw the financial transactions for several significant acquisitions, most notably in 2014 with the purchase of Patina Restaurant Group, a leader in the premium restaurant and catering sector. Delaware North has also acquired two smaller companies for its gaming business and purchased resorts on Cape Cod in Massachusetts and near several national parks.

Prior to joining Delaware North in 2009, Feeney was senior vice president and treasurer for Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN), where he oversaw all of the company’s capital-raising activities and its relationships with rating agencies, banks and institutional investors. While at Wyndham, Feeney oversaw $7 billion in financings and maintained the company’s investment-grade rating during the housing crisis (2007-2009), one of only two public hospitality companies to maintain such a rating during that period.

Before joining Wyndham, Feeney held management positions of increasing importance at Sunrise Senior Living, Marriott International, and Ernst & Young LLP.

Feeney received an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business, a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and an undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson
