Doug Tetley serves as managing director of Delaware North’s United Kingdom operation.
Tetley is a highly experienced director within the hospitality, retailing and contract-management sectors.
A significant part of Tetley’s career was spent in Mitchells & Butlers in operations, strategic planning and marketing – culminating in the role of director and general manager of the Browns restaurant chain. He went on to join Aramark, initially as managing director of defence services and subsequently as managing director of its largest division, Business Services.
In 2010, Tetley became CEO of Searcy’s, a premium London-based contract caterer and hospitality retailer. He led the business through a management buy-out, drove strategic and operational change, grew the business and re-established its standing in the contract catering market.
Tetley joined Delaware North in April 2014.
