Delaware North Companies Begins Search for Chief Information Officer for its Global Operations

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 14, 2011) – Delaware North Companies, one of the world’s leading hospitality and food service providers, announced today it has begun a search for a new chief information officer for its global operations. The CIO will report to Charles E. Moran, president and chief operating officer of Delaware North Companies.

The chief information officer will provide enterprisewide leadership to the organization’s information technology functions, information solutions, technology infrastructure and strategic technology partnerships. The CIO will oversee the technology strategy in support of the diverse and complex business units in Delaware North’s portfolio, including businesses in the hospitality, sports, gaming, lodging, food service, retail and travel industries. The CIO will lead the global function that comprehends all facets of information technology and will lead enterprise business transformation.

The CIO will have responsibility for information systems, infrastructure services, information technology project and relationship management, operations support and information security and will oversee an IT department of more than 50 professionals.

Delaware North is searching for a candidate with significant experience leading the information technology function at a global corporation.
