Mark Worthington is Director of Procurement for Delaware North Companies (UK) and joined in 2005. Mark has 40 years’ experience in the catering industry, working in both hotels and airlines before joining Delaware North, prior to the mobilisation of Wembley Stadium.
During his early years with Delaware North, Mark had oversight of all aspects relating to Health and Safety and Food safety, in addition to procurement activities. He has hospitality management qualifications as well as a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety and a CIEH Advanced Food Hygiene Qualification.
Mark and his team are integral to ensuring effective implementation of all matters related to a compliant, safe and cost-effective supply chain.
He has been closely involved with all of Delaware North’s Stadium and Travel mobilisations and works closely with clients and their product supplier sponsors.
During the 2012 London Olympics at Wembley Stadium, as well as at other high-profile events, Mark was responsible for ensuring that the food procured and served by Delaware North met the requirements of the event owners Food Vision.
