Michael Levy

Michael Levy is senior vice president of retail for Delaware North, bringing over three decades of experience in retail and merchandising. Michael oversees the company’s enterprise retail strategy, focusing on growth, performance, operational consistency and cross-subsidiary collaboration.

Michael has over three decades of experience in retail and merchandising. Before Delaware North, he was vice president of commercial at Applegreen, where he managed the financial performance of 108 U.S. travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, which encompassed convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, fueling stations and electric vehicle charging stations.

He previously served as senior vice president and chief merchandising officer at Hudson Group, a leading North American travel retailer and wholly owned subsidiary of global retailer Avolta AG. For 15 years, Michael led Hudson Group’s inventory control, planning and merchandising operations for more than 900 duty-free, specialty and convenience stores in 83 U.S. airports.

Earlier in his career, Michael spent 17 years at Saks Fifth Avenue, a U.S. luxury department store chain, where he held various successive roles, including as divisional vice president of merchandising for the men’s and children’s categories. Michael started his retail career as an assistant buyer for Lord & Taylor, a historic American department store brand. He also worked in merchandise planning for Polo Ralph Lauren Factory and Brooks Brothers.

Michael has a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and is based at corporate headquarters in Buffalo.
