NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (May 30, 2012) – Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, a global leader in hospitality, will offer additional food and retail options to guests on the American side of Niagara Falls during Nik Wallenda’s high-wire walk June 15, 2012. The Buffalo-based company will ensure that guests have access to numerous food and retail options in Niagara Falls State Park before and during the historic event. 

Delaware North will offer two additional retail tents and a food tent in the Terrapin Point viewing area during the event. The gift shops at Prospect Point, Cave of the Winds and Top of the Falls will remain open throughout the event. All the concession food operations in the park, including the Cave of the Winds Snackbar, Visitor Center Deli & Coffee Shop and Visitor Center Grill, will also offer extended hours the day of the event. The Top of the Falls restaurant will close to the public at 6 p.m. and reopen at 8 p.m. for a pre-sold, ticketed dinner event.
Park guests are also encouraged to purchase The Niagara USA Discovery Pass, which is an admission ticket to all of the Niagara Falls State Park attractions. It can be used in one day or over several days. A favorite among park-goers, the Discovery Pass allows guests at Niagara Falls access to the Cave of the Winds, the Maid of the Mist, Niagara: Legends of Adventure Theater, the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, the Aquarium of Niagara, and the Niagara Scenic Trolley. The pass is $33 for adults and $26 for children between 6 & 12 years old.
