Unique chocolate brand makes airport debut by way of Delaware North

Travelers can now enjoy something sweet, minus the guilt, thanks to Good Girl Chocolate launching in Delaware North-operated outlets at the Tulsa, Okla., and Austin, Texas, airports.

Good Girl Chocolate was started in Oklahoma City by Tabatha Carr, who founded a company rooted in her professional passion as a naturopath doctor and personal health journey. From there, Good Girl Chocolate was born, offering organic and vegan chocolate to satisfy any sweet tooth.

“As a Black and female business owner, I have spent years developing recipes using quality ingredients to create products that align with health lifestyles,” said Carr, who shared a LinkedIn post last week when Good Girl Chocolates launched at the Mercantile in Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

“Good Girl Chocolate is a great product and offers wonderful packaging for our guests to enjoy during their travels or even take home to loved ones,” said Terry Mahlum, regional director for Delaware North at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Good Girl Chocolate offers several delicious varieties of bars and truffles in flavors such as Keto Fudge, Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate with Almonds, Brownie Batter and Coconut Pecan Scotchie.

“These products help meet rising demand for plant-based snacks and introduce guests to a new brand garnering national attention,” said Sunshine White, director of strategic partnerships for Delaware North’s Travel division.

In 2022, Carr was selected to join Whole Foods Market’s inaugural Local and Emerging Accelerator Program, and Good Girl Chocolate bars were featured in the coveted 2023 Grammy Awards “swag” bags.

“Carr’s passion for helping others, combined with her business acumen and naturopathic knowledge, has led to a line of delicious and good-for-you products,” White said. “We are thrilled to introduce Good Girl Chocolate to our guests.”
