Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services Helps Fight Hunger in Atlanta

Global food, beverage and hospitality provider donates $5,000 towards Thanksgiving turkeys to Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless

BUFFALO, N.Y. (Nov. 29, 2011) – Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services donated $5,000 towards Thanksgiving turkeys last week to Atlanta’s Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless, a nonprofit organization that feeds more than 160,000 people each year.

“When we learned of the need for donations for this week’s Thanksgiving meals at Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless, we knew we could help,” said Matt King, president of Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services, the division of Delaware North Companies responsible for providing food, beverage and retail services in airports and travel hubs in the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

“We are part of a $2 billion-plus global hospitality and food service company. Understandably, eradicating hunger is one of our priorities when it comes to charitable giving,” King added.

In the United States alone, Delaware North contributes more than $3 million each year to local charities, almost all of which are found in the cities where Delaware North has operations. In addition to hunger, the company focuses on education and serving the needs of underprivileged children.
