New England resort offers lodging, breakfast, & golf for $99 per night
DIXVILLE NOTCH, NH (March 7, 2007) – The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel is delighted to announce the appointment of Douglas A. Ruttle, P.G.A., as Director of Golf. As his first order of business, Doug is proud to present the irresistible rate being offered this summer at the BALSAMS. From Sunday through Thursday, guests will have the opportunity to book the Golf Free Package for only $99 per night. This package includes lodging, breakfast in the main dining room, and 18 holes of golf. The package will be available from May 18th through June 28th and from August 26th through October 14th, 2007.
Golfing has been a guest favorite at The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel since 1897. Legendary golf architect Donald Ross designed the 18-hole PANORAMA championship golf course, which sits beautifully on the western side of Keazer Mountain. The holes flow naturally over the mountainside, and feature Ross' signature elements like deceptively wide fairways, small greens and fescue-walled sand bunkers to challenge golfers of all skill levels.
It's easy to see why Golf Digest® has consistently ranked the course New Hampshire's #1 Public Access Course since 1997. The 9-hole executive course, COASHAUKEE, is located right next to the hotel and makes for a perfect warm-up round or a just-right challenge for beginners and high handicappers.
Package is subject to availability and rate is per person based on double occupancy. For reservations and information about The BALSAMS, call toll-free at (866) 380-6798 or visit www.thebalsams.com.
