After a delayed start this year due to the ongoing pandemic, Minor League Baseball (MiLB) began its season this month.

Delaware North Sportservice, which operates food, beverage and retail operations for several MiLB teams, took the opportunity to refresh some of its food and beverage offerings.

At historic Grainger Stadium in Kinston, N.C., home to the Down East Wood Ducks, Low-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, Delaware North unveiled new concessions items ahead of the team’s home opener next week. New food items that fans can expect to see this year start with Kinston’s own award-winning King’s BBQ. King’s BBQ will be used for the Bang Bang BBQ sandwiches, Bang Bang BBQ nachos (loaded nachos), and the Five-Tool Tater Tots (loaded tater tots).

In addition to the new food items, local brewery Mother Earth Brewing has partnered with the Wood Ducks to craft a draft beer, the Duck Blind Amber Ale, which will be available at Grainger Stadium.

Delaware North’s other MiLB ballparks include: Autozone Park in Memphis, Tenn.; FNB Field in Harrisburg, Pa.; Hammons Field in Springfield, Mo.; Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Fla.; Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.; and L.P. Frans Stadium in Hickory, N.C.
