The new division of Patina will elevate events of all sizes through seasonal ingredients, locally sourced produce, curated cocktails, transformative tablescapes and more.
“We are thrilled to partner with Giada De Laurentiis to create Giada Catering,” said Stephanie Edens, vice president of events and catering at Patina Restaurant Group. “Patina and Delaware North continue to set the highest standard for culinary excellence and reimagining the hospitality industry. Our work with Giada will allow us to curate new immersive experiences through food and beverage, design and hospitality to truly delight new guests in Southern California.”
The partnership was featured by media outlets such as Forbes and BizBash. An excerpt from De Laurentiis’s interview with BizBash is below:
“We have created themed, authentic Italian experiences that people can choose from – for instance, you can choose the Amalfi coast with vibrant colors, or Milan’s high fashion, or the authenticity of Rome – to bring the true Italian experience to their events, from design and decor to food and ingredients. We are creating holistic experiences for our guests. My team and Patina spent countless hours making this come to life the right way and for the right reasons,” De Laurentiis continued.
“I really felt like I needed a partner who could help me execute my vision with their expertise and experience in putting on amazing events. One thing I’m good at is looking and waiting for the right partner to work with, like I’ve done on TV and [with] my restaurants in Las Vegas. Good things take time to find and build, and I really believe that Patina and Delaware North are that partner.”
Giada Catering launched in De Laurentiis’s home base of Southern California – where Patina has a significant catering business and presence at renowned restaurants and cultural institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Norton Simon Museum, Bowers Museum and Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
