Sportservice has a distinctive place in the Delaware North family of companies. While each subsidiary has its bragging rights, only Sportservice can call itself the oldest, tracing its roots to the earliest ventures of Delaware North founders Charles, Marvin and Louis Jacobs. The company's operating philosophy and values are true to the vision these young men had for their new company: hard work, ingenuity, honesty and integrity.
Delaware North Companies Sportservice will operate all premium dining, catering, concessions and retail for the 2009 MLB All Star Game at Busch Stadium. This is the fourth MLB All Star Game this decade that Sportservice has been involved with, having overseen food and beverage operations for games held at Miller Park in 2002, U.S. Cellular Field in 2003 and Comerica Park in 2005.
