PATINA CATERING APPOINTED AS THE OFFICIAL CATERER OF THE 58TH ANNUAL GRAMMY CELEBRATION®

Patina Catering is honored to serve The Recording Academy® as the Official Caterer of the 58th Annual GRAMMY Celebration®. A first for the esteemed catering division of Patina Restaurant Group, the menu—designed to be enjoyed by nearly 5,000 guests during the award show reception on February 15—is a playful and vibrant celebration of sustainable, local California flavors inspired by the music and its artists. The menu is divided into five iconic California dining destinations, giving guests the opportunity to indulge in the best of what “The Golden State” has to offer, including Baja California with “Taco Truck” bites, Napa-inspired cuisine, Santa Monica Farmers’ Market seasonal favorites, gluten-free dishes from “Beverly Hills,” and dessert from Hollywood’s “GRAMMY Land” including whimsical cotton candy trees. In addition to curating a menu fit for the star-studded celebration, Patina Restaurant Group has also developed five GRAMMY-inspired cocktails to be enjoyed at its Los Angeles restaurants from now until February 15.

ROWLAND’S BAR AND GRILL TO OPEN AT MACY’S HERALD SQUARE ALONG WITH NEW AIRSTREAM CONCEPT FOOD COURT ‘CHEF STREET’

Nick Valenti and Patina Restaurant Group debut two exciting new dining destinations at one below at Macy’s Herald Square this holiday season, following the success of Stella 34 Trattoria.  Rowland’s Bar and Grill will serve modern American gastropub cuisine in an atmosphere inspired by turn of the century New York.  Named for Macy’s founder Rowland Hussey (R.H.) Macy, the restaurant builds upon his magnanimous character.  R.H. Macy was born on Nantucket, and Rowland’s pays tribute to that heritage with seafood specialties including Smoked Fish Chowder and Sea Bream with Parsley Salsa Verde. Also featured is American fare popular in New York since the 1850s, when Macy moved to the city and established his dry goods business. Chef Street brings the popular food truck trend indoors, with four chef-driven, fast-casual dining concepts within Airstream-style trailers: Taquitoria, Crumb on Parchment, Tabo Noodles, and Rollie’s.  The striking space, where cooks in each trailer prepare the food fresh to order, evokes a modern vintage style.

Opening on Tuesday, October 5th for lunch and then Thursday, October 8th for dinner, Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse is proud to unveil the exciting reinvention of this Bunker Hill culinary institution. Following a “down to the studs” renovation and overall revamp of the menu, the 16-year old steakhouse, by celebrated Chef and Founder of Patina Restaurant Group Joachim Splichal, is set to dazzle guests both old and new. Chic décor that embodies the traditions of a classic steakhouse with a touch of contemporary flair and a menu that celebrates cured meat selection with an emphasis on a 28-day onsite aging of premium cuts are just the start of the changes. Comprehensive raw bar and seafood options, a wine program consisting of  over 500 labels including selections from Splichal’s personally selected vintages, a mixology program rooted in mid-century cocktails and unparalleled service for which the brand is known, will be at the core of the new iteration of Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse.

Morimoto Asia, a highly anticipated collaboration between Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Patina Restaurant Group, is pleased to announce a scheduled opening date of September 30, 2015 as Downtown Disney nears its transition to Disney Springs. The Japanese master chef’s first pan-Asian dining experience will showcase flavors from across the Asian continent, all with Morimoto’s creative touch.
