Delaware North continues on momentum from 2017 by opening another airport restaurant

Delaware North opened nearly 40 airport retail and/or food outlets in 2017. The momentum traveled into 2018.

The travel division last week opened Annies Café & Bar at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Located near Gate 18, Annies Café & Bar offers a unique build-your-own burger bar that includes toppings such as fried eggs, locally sourced bacon, avocado and grilled mushrooms. In addition to food offerings, Annies features a wide selection of both local and national wines.

The new grab-and-go case features expanded selections of freshly prepared salads, sandwiches and natural impulse items such as hand-packaged Annies granola, trail mix, organic bars and healthy chips.

“A big thank-you to everyone involved in making this opening a successful one,” said Steve Bass, chief operating officer of Delaware North’s travel business. “And a very special thank-you to Love Nance, owner of Annies Café in downtown Austin. Be sure to stop by on your next visit to Austin.”

Of the 39 new concepts that opened at airports around the United States in 2017, four were in Austin: IVini, Annies (another location), a new and larger Salt Lick BBQ and an outpost of the popular outdoor and lifestyle apparel store Tyler’s.
