Bills Stadium, Delaware North Sportservice ready for playoff football

The Buffalo Bills are hosting their first NFL playoff game in 25 years on Saturday when they play the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round. The team’s home, Bills Stadium, was given the green light by New York State to allow 6,700 fans to watch the game in person following strict COVID-19 procedures.

Delaware North worked with the team to transition Bills Stadium to a cashless payment environment – ensuring contactless options for food, beverage and merchandise concessions purchases. Cash will no longer be accepted at the stadium, and ATMs have been removed from the premises. In addition to traditional credit card swipe, dip and tap options, all fixed points of sale will accept mobile wallet payment options, including Bills Bucks, Apple, Google and Samsung Pay.

To protect fans as they’re purchasing food, Delaware North has added plexiglass at points of sale, eliminated condiment stands, in-seat service and food and drink portables, and all food will be served in a closed vessel.

Because of the limited nature of fan attendance, the culinary offerings have been pared back to local fanfavorite options such as jumbo hot dogs, pretzels, La Nova pizza and Tim Hortons coffee, as well as packaged beverages.
