GRAND CANYON, Ariz. (July 27, 2007) – Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts has named Cendy Sangermano as general manager of its operations at the Grand Canyon.
The company operates three general stores at the natural wonder – two stores inside Grand Canyon National Park and one additional store in the nearby town of Tusayan. Each store offers a wide range of grocery items, apparel, gifts and souvenirs.
A graduate of the Denver Institute for Art and Interior Design, Sangermano brings 13 years of experience in destination retailing to the Grand Canyon.
With Delaware North, she has served as director of retail operations at Yosemite National Park since 2004 and previous to that worked in the company’s retail operations at Sequoia National Park. She has also worked at Pikes Peak State Park in Colorado and at the U.S. mints in Denver and Philadelphia.
