New Delaware North-operated restaurant announced for Miller Park

Last week, the Milwaukee Brewers announced plans for a new restaurant concept coming to their ballpark, Miller Park, where Delaware North Sportservice provides hospitality services. Delaware North will operate the restaurant, which is taking over the space in the ballpark’s third-base corner currently occupied by Friday’s Front Row Sports Grill.

As part of the announcement, the Brewers said the restaurant will be called “Restaurant to be Named Later,” which is a clever nod to the “player to be named later” frequently used as currency in MLB player trades.

The restaurant’s menu will celebrate an array of Wisconsin favorites, with twists on classic food and beverage offerings. The interior of the restaurant will also be refreshed before it’s reopened in mid-January.

“We are always looking to enhance the complete fan experience at Miller Park, and we place the highest priority on developing creative food and beverage concepts to fit all tastes,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers president of business operations. “We are excited about the work we are doing with Delaware North to make this an inviting venue.”

Delaware North has been expanding its roster of full-service, year-round restaurants outside major sports venues over the past several years, which has proven to be a growing trend throughout the industry.

Most recently, Delaware North opened The Turn, Powered by Topgolf Swing Suite, outside of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisc., earlier this fall, while Banners Kitchen & Tap, which will be run by Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group, will soon open as part of The Hub on Causeway development outside of TD Garden in Boston.
