The American Culinary Federation (ACF) recently honored Larry Alexander Jr. – executive chef at Delaware North-owned-and-operated Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling, W.Va. – with its Cutting Edge Award.
 
The award was presented by ACF National President Tom Macrina at ChefConnect Atlanta – an annual ACF gathering that includes professional development, culinary trend seminars and regional awards. Alexander was one of only four chefs or foodservice executives from the Northeast and Southeast regions of the ACF to receive the award.
