Progressive Field executive chef adds another award

On the heels of his second-place finish in the national #AvocadoMadness competition, Josh Ingraham – executive chef for Delaware North Sportservice at Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians – recently took home the People’s Choice Award in Barilla’s Represent Your Region contest.

More than 380 chefs from throughout the United States submitted recipes, with Ingraham’s mozzarella chefjoshmozz-6776995fettucine dish (pictured at right) coming out on top.

“I used the entire carrot – from top to bottom – with a carrot-top pesto and candied carrot curls to garnish the dressed Barilla fettucine with fresh micro basil and handmade mozzarella noodles,” Ingraham told TribeVibe.MLBblogs.com.

Barilla sent each participant a box of pasta, and Ingraham took it to the next level by incorporating carrots from his home garden, which he then paired with handmade mozzarella noodles.

“As always, I’m very proud to represent both Delaware North and the Cleveland Indians each time I compete,” he said.
