Delaware North’s travel hospitality business celebrates several openings

Three airports. Three separate openings. Needless to say, it’s been a busy – and productive – couple weeks for Delaware North’s travel hospitality business.

At Charleston (S.C.) International Airport last week, the team opened Delaware North’s sixth Harvest & hg_chs_2-2165044Grounds location. The new Harvest & Grounds kiosk – the airport’s second location – offers guests an assortment of locally-sourced baked goods, pre-packaged gourmet sandwiches, salads and healthy snacks. And in terms of the coffee, it will serve King Bean – an award-winning, local favorite.

The North Loop Market made its debut Sept. 3 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) for travelers in the Twin Cities. The concept design is based on the well-known North Loop neighborhood in Minneapolis and offers a wide variety of local products, including candies, popcorn, fresh juices and sports team merchandise from the Minnesota Vikings and University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. North Loop Market is the third concept Delaware North has opened at MSP in the past month. Terry Mahlum, a regional vice president of Delaware North’s travel hospitality business, tweeted a video from inside the store; watch by clicking here.

Meanwhile, at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the team opened Fifth & Congress (themed after the famed 5th Street and Congress Avenue in downtown Austin, Texas) – another iteration of Delaware North’s proprietary retail concept that offers upscale, luxury goods for travelers.
