Delaware North Global Headquarters associates on April 27 celebrated Administrative Professionals Day, with the event including the presentation of the 2016 Excellence Award to Kellie Brozyna, administrative assistant to the chief information officer.
The event, which included lunch served by the Delaware North Sportservice culinary team from Ralph Wilson Stadium, is held annually by ASSET (Administrative Support & Services Enrichment Team), the hourly associates at global headquarters.
Brozyna, one of seven nominees for the 16th annual award, was selected by a five-person committee.
She joined Delaware North in 2014 after working as an administrative assistant and paralegal with a number of organizations since 2000. Her nomination centered on her work in helping coordinate training, communications and other aspects of the many information technology initiatives undertaken at global headquarters over the last two years.
“Kellie has been instrumental in assisting to initiate a number of changes that have improved old processes,” the nomination said. “She is extremely technologically educated in the latest and greatest. She was the go-to person when we were transitioning to Microsoft Office 365 … and has been a leader in mentoring not just ASSET members, but many associates.”
