Delaware North associates in the field help promote ‘Commitment to Care’ programs and their locations

At the Delaware North operating locations that have reopened, associates are working within the
company’s Commitment to Care programs aimed at keeping both their teams and guests safe from
COVID-19.

Some associates have also had opportunities to promote the programs via local media stories,commitmenttocare_thumbnail-7146961
including why they provide guests reassurance to visit. Here is a look at a few of those associates:

Sieeria Vieaux, a Delaware North marketing manager in Green Bay, Wisc., was interviewed by WFRV, the local CBS affiliate, for a two-part feature story on the reopening of The Turn. Delaware North operates The Turn and 46 Below Café for the Green Bay Packers at their Titletown district near Lambeau Field, as well as 1919 Kitchen & Tap in the stadium. All of the restaurants recently reopened.

Vieaux, while wearing her mask, told “Local 5 Live” host Chad Roethlisberger about the restaurant’s Play it Safe™ Commitment to Care program that includes extensive sanitation measures, including in the seven TopGolf Swing Suites that offer groups a more private dining experience while playing simulated golf, baseball, football, dodgeball and other games.

Complete with a food display on The Turn’s patio, Vieaux also talked about the restaurant’s food and
suite specials aimed at attracting people to the restaurant and Titletown.

Delaney Evers, a sales manager and wedding planner at Honey Creek Resort, which Delaware North
operates in a scenic state park for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, was recently part of a
Travel Iowa feature that you can read here. The Centerville native told the magazine about how she
returned to Iowa for the Honey Creek position after beginning her career in Los Angeles.

Evers said she helps plan “destination within reach” weddings for couples from Iowa and nearby
Missouri. “It has the feel of a destination wedding, but you’re not asking people to spend a fortune and
fly anywhere,” she told the magazine.

She said the resort is taking every precaution to keep guests safe this summer (peak season), including
placing sanitation stations throughout the property and requiring staff to wear masks. Evers said
couples have been incredibly cooperative and creative in finding ways to celebrate their special day.

“I’ve been working with some of these couples for a year and a half,” she said. “They want to proceed
while keeping their families safe. In some cases, grandparents aren’t coming or maybe they cut down
the guest lists.”

Christian DiFiglia, food and beverage director at Patina 250 in downtown Buffalo, spoke to WGRZ-TV, the local NBC affiliate, about how the restaurant that Patina Restaurant Group operates in The Delaware North Building has fared since reopening in June. Patina 250 is currently open Wednesday through Saturday for dinner and Sunday for brunch.

“We’re open and we’re comfortable and we feel safe, and we want our guests to feel safe and our employees to feel safe,” DiFiglia said via a streamed interview at the restaurant with “Dine Safe” program signage visible.

DiFiglia noted that the restaurant is taking advantage of its large footprint – both indoors and outdoors – to allow for proper social distancing of patrons.

“We’re very fortunate in that respect. We have a very large, beautiful courtyard in the interior of the building that is partially covered and partially open air,” DiFiglia told WGRZ reporter Michael Wooten and anchor Maryalice Demler. “A lot of the tables that we took out from our main dining room we put out there, so we gained a lot of space. You can tell the guests are very comfortable and they feel safe.”
