
Scott Socha is vice president - treasurer for Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service. With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and 55,000 employees, Delaware North is one of the largest privately held companies in the world.
Socha served as the vice president of finance for the company from 2004, adding business development duties to his position in 2007. He later shifted his focus entirely to business development in order to lead Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts' significant growth strategy. As vice president of business development for Delaware North's newest operating company, he is responsible for evaluating new business opportunities and room for future growth.
Socha began his career with Delaware North in 1999 as a manager of financial planning and analysis for Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services. He transferred to Parks & Resorts in 2002 and has held positions of increasing responsibility ever since. Prior to joining Delaware North, Socha was employed by Delphi Automotive Systems and taught various accounting and finance courses at both the Jacobs School of Management at the University at Buffalo and Medaille College.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. John Fisher College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University at Buffalo.
