Dan Zimmer is vice president of corporate finance and development for Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service. With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and 55,000 employees, it is one of the largest privately held companies in the world.
Zimmer has been with Delaware North since 1995, serving in a number of finance and business strategy positions, including vice president of business operations for the Boston Bruins, the NHL franchise owned by Delaware North Companies Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Jacobs.
He left the Bruins post in 2010 to return to Delaware North’s corporate headquarters, where he is responsible for a number of strategic finance initiatives and compliance requirements.
Zimmer received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y.
