Dan Jensen
Title: President, Yosemite National Park
Dan Jensen is the president of Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at Yosemite. In this role, Jensen is responsible for overseeing the lodging, food service management, retail, transportation and guest services provided under contract to the National Park Service, including properties such as The Ahwahnee® (a National Historic Landmark) and the High Sierra Camps (a series of High Sierra lodging and restaurant operations accessible only by foot or horseback). Jensen began his career in Price Waterhouse’s Los Angeles office. He later joined Universal Studios Japan, serving as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Before moving to Japan, he served as executive vice president of Universal Studios Florida, transitioning to executive vice president of resort development during the build-out of Universal Orlando Resort. Jensen returned to Yosemite in 2007 after having worked for Yosemite Park & Curry Co. from 1979 through 1992. Prior to his Yosemite experience, he had been a consultant/owner engaged in development of themed concepts, domestically and internationally, and as a property developer in the Orlando, Fla., area. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at Riverside and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.
