Rick Abramson is president of Delaware North Companies Sportservice, a subsidiary of Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service. With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and 50,000 employees, it is one of the largest privately help companies in the world.
Abramson began his career with Delaware North as a vendor at Milwaukee County Stadium over 40 years ago. After more than 35 years of working in various capacities for Delaware North, Abramson returned to his roots in 2004 when he accepted the president role for Sportservice. In this position, he oversees Sportservice’s entire business operations.
Abramson’s time with Delaware North includes senior leadership positions with Parks & Resorts, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and the company’s international division. Under his direction, Delaware North engineered a $130 million redevelopment initiative of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that included opening the world-renowned Apollo/Saturn V Center and International Space Station Center.
Abramson currently serves on the boards of numerous charitable organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club of America and he has been honored with the Dr. Kurt H. Debus Award from the National Space Club Florida Committee.
