Discover a Passion for Beer at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake

Beer tasting, four-course dinner and overnight stay March 31
GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ohio (February  2012) — Did you ever wonder about the complexities involved in brewing lagers and ales? The Beer Tasting Dinner at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake on Saturday, March 31 will educate you and your palate with an array of locally handcrafted brews, accompanied by a special four-course dinner.

The event, featuring the local Cornerstone Brewery, will begin at 6 p.m. with an hour-long beer tasting and educational discussion about how each brew is made to reach its distinctive flavor.

Each course of the dinner will use beer as an ingredient and will be accompanied by a complementing brew. Guests will begin the meal with a curried apple, beer and sweet potato soup followed by a spicy sausage and white bean bruschetta. Next, a coffee crusted sirloin with beer demi will be served before capping off the meal with dessert – beer battered bananas foster.

While at The Lodge, guests can also enjoy other amenities, such as the indoor pool and hot tub, and wine shuttle to nearby wineries.

The Beer Tasting Dinner getaway package, which includes the beer tasting and dinner, overnight accommodations and breakfast, starts at $239 plus tax, per couple. For reservations, visit www.thelodgeatgeneva.com or call 866-442-9765 promo code: BEER.
